Latest Projects

I help businesses show up properly. With purpose, individuality, and a point of view. My work spans creative direction, brand strategy, tone of voice, and storytelling. I build cult-status brands and culture-led projects that actually connect. From neighbourhood restaurants to future-focused platforms, here’s a glimpse at what I’ve been working on.

Wangs, Bristol - a weird little universe of flavour, culture, and community.

Creative Director / Brand Consultant

A full-flavoured identity for a Chinese neighbourhood restaurant in Bristol

Wangs is a bold, brilliant little universe of flavour, culture, and community. Built in Bristol. Rooted in China. I joined the team via Cult Brands by Fi as Creative Director and ongoing brand consultant — or, as they like to call me, their Secret Sauce™.

I work closely with the founders to shape the full brand experience — story, tone, identity, interiors, printed materials, and a slick website, all with an Extra Dollop of storytelling. I also collaborated with Ben O’Brien (@bentheillustrator) and built off original character work by Man Fei, the genius behind Bowlman.

This is a restaurant, yes — but it’s also a cultural space. A place where people come together to share food, stories, and very good times. I’m still part of the crew, helping steer the creative vision as it grows.

This one’s got all the ingredients of a cult classic — and we’re just getting started.

Purposeful Growth

Creative Consultant

Brand direction and visual storytelling for a future-thinking platform

When long-time collaborators Helen Trickey and Philipp Reker set out to launch Purposeful Growth — a platform and behind-the-scenes space for their forthcoming book on what meaningful business growth really looks like — they brought me in to shape the creative direction behind it.

This wasn’t a full rebrand brief. It was about building a visual language that reflected their personalities and shared mission — something that sat somewhere between Philipp’s clarity, Helen’s energy, and the punch of the ideas they’re putting into the world.

My role involved researching the visual language of brands they admired, then translating that into something uniquely theirs: a direction with the bold impact of Nike and the warm sophistication of Soho House.

I curated a visual bank to support their articles and podcast series, helped define the brand’s tone and layout strategy, and ensured their Squarespace site could flex and evolve as the platform grows.

Little Jack’s Sausage Rolls: Heart, Soul & Sausage Rolls

When James from Little Jack Horners approached me, he wasn’t just after a logo update, he wanted to reignite the brand’s energy, to reconnect with the heart of what made it special. Together, we tapped into the true essence of Little Jack’s: West Country pride, quality ingredients, and a team that genuinely cares about what they are doing.

I kicked off by simplifying the name to “Little Jack’s,” giving it space to grow while keeping that personal connection to its heritage. Then came the tagline: Heart, Soul & Sausage Rolls, a line that says it all. This rebrand wasn’t just about visuals; it was about creating something James could truly resonate with and get excited about.

Working closely with @benillustrator, we created a fresh, clean design infused with playful touches, a sausage roll delivery car, cheeky sausage roll buddies all with the aim of giving Little Jack’s a distinct personality without losing its authenticity and wholesomeness. The result? A brand that feels familiar yet fresh, grounded in its Somerset roots but ready to take on the wider wholesale market.

This project breathed new life into Little Jack’s, setting them up to grow and tell their story with confidence and heart.

The Home For Imaginative Friends

In 2024, I launched The Home For Imaginative Friends, a round table supper club for creative thinkers, designers, artists, punks, foodies, renegades, inventors, weirdos, losers, winners, disruptors, rebels, and their friends. My goal was to bring joy back into people's lives and create a space where creatives could gather, share, and support one another. Each carefully curated event offers an immersive experience with incredible food from creative cooks (including myself), flowing drinks, engaging conversations, skill-sharing, problem-solving, and idea encouragement—because as far as I'm concerned, no idea is a bad idea! Working with Ben, we designed surreal visuals and a logo to inspire free creativity and foster a sense of community.

Girls Who Grind Coffee

As the co-founder and Head of Brand at Girls Who Grind Coffee, a female-led specialty coffee company celebrating women in the coffee industry, I played a pivotal role in shaping our unique identity. I conceived the name and, together with my husband and illustrator Ben O'Brien, crafted all brand visuals, including logo design, merchandise, and all other creative assets. I managed our social media platform which became such a strong connector with our customers, creating a community for our customers. I established our irreverent and risqué tone of voice, which made waves in the coffee industry, positioning Girls Who Grind Coffee as one of the most striking disruptor brands. In 2022 I also conceptulised and launched the Coffee + Rebellion program, partnering with skaters, motorsport drivers, bikers, writers, surfers, producers and punks, forming a community of rebels making positive changes in male-dominated sectors.

Trend Curation

In addition to my brand work, I'm always scouting for trailblazing brands shaking up the food and drink scene. Faddy Boombah is my social media feed where I spotlight the tastiest, most innovative brands I uncover.

With an innate need to discover new things, Pinterest has become my go-to platform for curating and moodboarding my favourite finds. From innovative fashion labels and contemporary architecture to trends in design, typefaces, and café/bar interiors, oh, and don’t forget the mullet, there's always room for a mullet. It has become a vibrant visual archive of all that inspires me.
